Join our incredible Part 2 staff in a summer camp experience that will provide life-long memories. Our focus is to provide fun and engaging activities that will enrich the lives of our campers. Our staff will facilitate hands-on science experiments, outdoor exploration and investigation, team building activities and cooperative games where campers will always be learning through play.
Jeff O'Hara, current HCS principal, is stepping away from this role to focus more time and energy on Part 2. As a parent, he knows how challenging it is to find coverage during the gap weeks of summer (the first week after school gets out and the last couple of weeks of summer vacation). To help parents out, Part 2 will now be offering summer programming every day of the summer, except on the 4th of July.
Jeff will be the lead director during the gap week camps. His adventure-based camps will not be school-based. Instead, there will be morning bus pick ups and drop offs at HCS, SCS, WCS, and RES. They will be full-day field trips with a stop at a different State park every morning so that our campers can participate in Venture Vermont (a self-discovery program to get Vermont kids more connected with their State parks and our environment).
Part 2 campers will participate in 3 field trips per week including swimming, museums, hiking and more! Check the links below for detailed activity and trip calendars
