Part 2 provides children a safe environment where they are given the opportunity to express themselves and develop socially, physically, academically and creatively through a program that nurtures and respects the uniqueness of each and every child. Our programs are built upon strong relationships between staff, children, parents and teachers to allow for collaboration in creating after school programs that match the needs of each unique community.
Kids can expect a wide range of activity choices each day including active games, arts and crafts, homework help, clubs, workshops, science and more!
Part 2 Early Education programs partner with area schools to create quality early education opportunities for all students ages 3-5 that best prepare them for kindergarten and life-long success. Some students enrolled in our programs receive free preschool services from the partnering school. During the time outside of the preschool component, the learning continues as Part 2 works in conjunction with the preschool teachers and school district to ensure learning targets are met and kindergarten preparedness to all of our students is achieved.
Join our incredible Part 2 staff in a summer camp experience that will provide life-long memories. Our focus centers around providing fun and engaging activities that will enrich the lives of our campers. Our staff will facilitate hands-on science experiments, outdoor exploration and investigation, team building activities and cooperative games where campers will always be learning through play. We will offer amazing clubs that focuses on a specific learning target, such as: art history, gardening, geography, news, wildlife, yoga, poetry, archaeology, etc. Field trips and exploring Vermont are also key components of Part 2 Summer Camp.
The Shelburne Field House childcare hub will close after program ends on Friday 10/17.
